Laser hair removal in Wola

Laser hair removal at Norm starts with a free consultation and patch test. We assess your skin, hair, medication and any recent tan, then individually set the parameters and the visit plan. The number of sessions, the intervals and the degree of hair reduction vary between people and areas. If your skin doesn't qualify on a given day, we explain why and postpone the treatment.

During the consultation we also go through possible skin reactions and what it feels like. We don't promise a specific result or timeline — we watch how your skin responds after each visit and adjust the plan. We work with an 808 nm diode laser with a cooled handpiece.

How the visit goes

• —Consultation and test: we check qualification, test on a small patch of skin and set the parameters.
• —Preparation: cleansing, marking the area, protective glasses.
• —Treatment: the cooled handpiece passes over the area — underarms take about fifteen minutes, full legs around half an hour.
• —Afterwards: a soothing cream and concrete instructions for the next few days.

How to prepare

• —Shave the area the day before — the laser needs to act on the follicle, not on hair above the skin.
• —For 4 weeks before the treatment don't wax, pluck or use an epilator — the follicle has to be there.
• —Avoid sunbathing and tanning beds before the visit; a fresh tan is a common reason to postpone.
• —On the day, skin must be clean — no creams, deodorant or oils.
• —Tell us about any medication you take (including antibiotics, retinoids and photosensitising drugs) — some require a break.

Contraindications

We don't treat, among other cases, during pregnancy, with active inflammation or skin infection in the area, with a fresh tan, while taking photosensitising medication, and with certain skin conditions. Aftercare

For a few days avoid hot baths, sauna, the pool, intense sport and sun; use SPF 50 on exposed areas. Don't pull out hairs that "shed" after the treatment — that's a normal stage. Between visits you can shave the area, but not wax. You'll get detailed instructions after the treatment — they depend on the area and how your skin reacts.

Wola — getting here

We do laser hair removal at one studio only — Jana Kazimierza 11A in Wola, right by Górczewska. It's a 7-minute walk from Płocka metro station (line M2), so getting here from anywhere in Warsaw is easy, no changes; from the Wola Park area and Bemowo, take a tram along Górczewska. Open daily 9:00–21:00. Other treatments — manicure, pedicure, brows — are also available at the second studio on Kolejowa, but laser hair removal is only here. You can combine it with a manicure, pedicure or a cosmetologist visit — more done in a single trip.

Why the price says "from"

The price list is per visit and depends on the area — e.g. upper lip from 129 zł or underarms from 159 zł. Hair grows in different phases, so the plan may include further visits. Their number and spacing are set individually after assessing your skin, hair and the response to previous treatments.
