Hair colouring in Warsaw

Colouring isn't just a change of colour — it's a change of mood. That's why we start with a conversation, not with dye. The colourist finds out what you're after, assesses your hair and suggests a technique that will look good not only on the day but six weeks later too. The consultation is free and non-binding — you can come for it separately, before the actual appointment.

Hair colouring prices — what it costs at Norm

The price depends on the technique and hair length (short / medium / long), which set the amount of colour and the working time:

• —Root touch-up — 300 zł, about 2 h
• —Single-colour (including grey coverage) — 359–419 zł, 2–2.5 h
• —Hair contouring — 350–450 zł, 3.5–4.5 h
• —Creative colour (pastels, vivid shades) — 400 zł, about 3.5 h
• —Total blonde with toning — 400–440 zł, 3–3.5 h
• —Balayage / hand touch / highlights — 500–700 zł, 5–6 h
• —Airtouch — 749–949 zł, 6.5–8.5 h
• —Colour removal from black — 750–950 zł, 4.5–6 h

Prices are the same at both studios. The colourist confirms the exact amount at the consultation, after seeing your hair.

Which colouring to choose

• —You want to refresh the colour you already have — root touch-up. The quickest and cheapest option if you come regularly.
• —You're changing colour completely or covering greys — single-colour: an even, full colour from root to tip.
• —You dream of natural lightened strands — balayage or hand touch: hand-painted strands, regrowth is barely visible, so visits can be less frequent.
• —Blonde without a yellow cast — total blonde with toning.
• —You want to change your face without a haircut — contouring: lighter and darker sections matched to your face shape.
• —You're leaving black — colour removal, often spread across several visits so the hair isn't damaged.
• —Pastels, reds, unexpected shades — creative colouring.

How long colouring takes

From 2 hours for roots to 8.5 hours for airtouch on long hair. That's why we book a whole afternoon for balayage and airtouch — and you get coffee, good music and calm. For the longer techniques it's worth booking ahead.

How to prepare

Come with your hair in its natural state — no hairspray or heavy styling; washing the day before is fine. If you've coloured your hair yourself, used henna or had a keratin treatment in recent months, tell us at the consultation — the technique depends on it. Bring photos of the result you like: it's easier to talk about colour with something concrete to look at.

How long the colour lasts and how to care for it

Roots usually show after 4–6 weeks, while balayage and airtouch grow out gracefully for 3–4 months. After colouring you'll get concrete advice: colour-safe shampoo, washing with cooler water, sun protection. In the studio we use Kevin Murphy for care.
